Richard M. Furgason, President

Mr. Furgason has been a partner in the firm since 1979. Born and raised in the Chicago area, Mr. Furgason joined the firm in 1974 after graduating from the University of Notre Dame Law School. He is a general practitioner with broad trial court experience. Mr. Furgason has argued cases before the Illinois Appellate and Supreme Courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals. He was a charter member, president and director of the Aurora Evening Lions Club, a member of the Holy Angels Parish Council, the Rosary High School Parents’ Auxiliary Board, The Compassion Foundation in Aurora, the Hesed House Transitional Living Center advisory board in Aurora, and a director of Senior Services Associates of Kane, Kendall and McHenry counties. Mr. Furgason serves as a pro bono attorney for CASA Kane County representing abused and neglected children.
